Naplnime devitilitrovou nadobu a odebereme z ni 2x ctyri litry (zbyde nam 1 litr). Pote tento jeden litr prelijeme do ctyrlitrove nadoby a naplnime devitilitrovou nadobu. Z devitilitrove nadoby prilijeme vodu do ctyrlitrove (je zde 1 litr, tzn. ze prilijeme 3 litry) a v devitilitrove nadobe nam zbyde presne 6 litru vody! :-)
